Left 4 Dead campaigns are pretty short
Portal/Portal 2
Spec Ops: The Line
A match of Civ
To the Moon

Of your list I've played and beaten Axiom Verge and Bayonetta. Both are fairly short, I think it took me 1-2 weeks but that was only playing maybe an hour a day of them. There's other indies that I would imagine are pretty short just to beat too (Hyper Light Drifter, Into the Breach, Limbo, etc.). I have those but haven't played them, but howlongtobeat is a great resource for a question like this.

It's similar to books.

Some people speedread or skim through the book only reading conversations and applicable action scenes or descriptions but miss a lot of the actual text.

Took me under 24 hours to read Book 7 of Harry Potter on release whereas some people had it finished in like 4 or something. You know they missed a lot of flavor text, basically.

Which yeah isn't super duper important but it's like speed running a game in Any%.

Yeah, for me I like to play a mix of games rather than one at a time and like 8 hours of that one game a day lol. Some games I will play more of but generally I don't beat a lot of games lmao.

Also I highly recommend both of those games that I listed and beat. Greatly enjoyed my time with them. The boss theme in Axiom Verge is orgasmic.

Whenever I do a marathon of all the Zelda games, I normally finish 1,2, and A Link to the Past in the same day

I probably would of added Onmiusha, if I wasn't super pissed off. I actually beat RE3make and Onimusha Remaster in the same day.
