You could make an estimated tax payment. You should probably have an idea what you made.

Or you'll just pay a late payment penalty.

I took a shot at this but even a few digits off with the income and taxes would vary the estimate by four figures. If the IRS website is right and it's only a 0.5 percent penalty per month, the penalty should be around 10-20 dollars.

I always found it funny that people freak out about getting their taxes in on time when there is no penalty if you don't owe for being late and if you do owe it's like 5 percent or something

once I had to go to Amazon's corporate mail room to chase down a check that a company sent. it was a strange, dimly lit place and the people there seemingly spoke a different language.

Last year my employer was so incompetent that they forgot to withhold state income tax.

That was a painful filing.
