I hate libertarians and enlightened centrists so much. Guy always posts about how government has too much overreach and all that bullshit and has pie in the sky ambitions about canceling taxes.

But dont tell them taxes arent theft, else theyll say they dont want their tax money going to Israeli gender studies or lesbian dance therapy and that its bad that happens. But god forbid they have receipts for the bullshit they spew.

are you under the impression that the federal government builds and maintains your local roads?

Im also not anti taxation. Its obviously a necessity. But Im also not going to sit here and pretend like forcefully taking a percentage of someones earnings isnt comparable to theft.

I'm under the impression that the tax money helps fund the roads. And the schools. And the basic infrastructure that allows you to even earn an income in the first place.

He now works on his own farm iirc. I know he posts every once and awhile about selling excess eggs and all that jazz.

I think we can all agree that "The Middle Class always pays", however.

Taxes need to be involuntary or else no one would pay them and society would crumble because stuff people dont realize we need would have no funding.

These sorts of people don't realize taxes pay for hospitals, schools, roads etc. They're literally what keep society functioning on a day to day basis.
