My barber used to be $30 and he increased to $35

I would just pay him $60 because he did a really good job.

I feel like I should pay him $65 instead of $60, but ATM machines don't give out $5 bills so I would relly have to pay him $70

You literally paid him for a service and on top of that, you're just like, guess I'll just pay double. It's your money, so go ahead, it just sounds dumb.

I've been cutting my own hair for 15 years. It's one of those skills like cooking. No reason not to learn.

I remember when the price where I go went up to $16 and I thought that was a lot. now it's $25. $30 is pretty pricy.

I do like to tip a bunch because haircuts are pretty infrequent and I appreciate when it's done well. one place I went to, the guy took a solid 45 minutes to give me a buzz cut, and did a terrible job on top of that. it was agonizing. going to a professional place, they do it almost perfectly on top of doing it extremely fast, so worth a good tip IMO.

Mines $30. Typically give $40 but depending on the cash I have I may give $35 sometimes.

Is that what haircuts cost these days? Yikes. I bought my own set of clippers years ago for $20 and never looked back. That's what I was paying (with a $5 tip) for each cut back then. And I thought that was too much.

You give a very substantial tip normally. If you kept it the same, I think its okay.
