Yes. She additionally has defenses against several of the claims made against her so far but hasn't gotten to present them yet.

I haven't seen all of it however. She has texts where Johnny apologizes for beating her as well as photos of her black eyes and some other things.

I don't know who is worse in this relationship but the chances of Depp winning this defamation lawsuit does not seem very good. This is less about clearing his name and more about making sure the world knows Amber is a piece of shit

Is there an official diagnosis floating around? I've heard people claim she is narcissistic (as in, she might have NPD) but this seems like cookie-cutter Borderline Personality Disorder to me. It's not the most talked about behavioral pattern, but nothing beats the good 'ol "talk in circles while redefining terms with equivalent statements over and over again while acting like you are superior, being informative, or are having a perfectly rational conversation despite making no sense".

Has she reverted to speaking like a child yet during the trial? Apparently some folks with NPD and BPD don't talk like babies, or regress to the state of a young teenager rather than a toddler, but if Depp is innocent I hope it happens to tip the scales in his favor.

They're both pretty obviously not free of blame. As to who's more responsible for how toxic it was it just seems like a bunch of he said she said with each side presenting witnesses with just as much of a bias as either of them have for recalling what actually transpired.

I suppose she's probably guilty of playing the poor abused girl who never participated in abusive behavior, but Johnny Depp's hands certainly don't seem to be clean in the matter.

I've seen multiple accounts(recorded ones that aren't up for much interpretation) that suggest he was a highly unhinged addict at the time all of this went down. That doesn't mean she isn't complicit and it doesn't mean she's innocent of wrenching up an already unstable situation with her own abusive behavior. But Johnny Depp is most definitely not just some innocent abused husband who caught all the blame for absolutely no reason in this matter.

It seems pretty clear that he was too fucked up when pretty much all of these incidents took place to give reliable testimony to what happened even if he wanted to.

This seems to be a pretty clear case of two toxic individuals clashing with and feeding off of each other and not a clear-cut case of an abuser and the abused.

When you're submitting a statement as evidence, you have to say it exactly as it was originally said with all the colorful language included. Same goes for testimony. You'll get dinged by the judge for altering evidence if you don't.

Amber claimed the eponymous "not punching" was self defense which seems like a sketchy claim. I've not ever heard of Depp claiming anything was self defense.

Sounds like something a Karen would say while being arrested for punching someone.
