ive never felt anything like this, its like the entire left side of my body is nearly unresponsive. i can sit up and type and can still make use of my arm from the elbow down but like. moving my upper arm in any way is fucking impossible, and is met with more pain than i can describe. it hurts all the way up to the side of my neck and down the side of my body too. this is nothing like my first shot, i feel like ive been shot or something. literally trying to lift my arm feels like trying to touch a stove with how intense the pain is, and im not exaggerating

i actually dont have a fever(yet?) but i do feel a little cold, but like i swear ive never felt pain like this. sorry for the blogfaqs and all but. holy shit

The second Covid shot made me so tired I slept a chunk of the day away.

I feel robbed. Neither my two shots or my booster did much of anything other than made my arm sore for a couple of days.

Took you long enough to get a second. Now wait for the booster, that one's fun too.

I got chills worse than Ive ever had in my life, to the point where I was laughing at the lack of control I had of my body.

my first one was like, nothing. didnt feel the injection and was sore for like half a day, but this is like indescribable. though the guy that did my second shot told me that probably the reason why my first shot didnt hurt much is because it was administered a little too low on my arm

a housebound person living with lupus that cant drive does not get many opportunities to leave the house. i was due for my second almost six weeks ago but like. im not able to waltz out whenever i want

im naturally a very cold person, so the chills part isnt bothering me that bad, but i still am really fucking cold for being under three blankets with socks on

I got a little bit sick, but I also exacerbated it by getting candy and soda to ride out the sickness and I think eating that junk food made me feel a lot worse than if I had eaten healthily.

The booster, on the other hand, was the first time I had actually felt sick in two years. It wasn't as bad as your symptoms, but it was a trip.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time, and I hope that the booster won't be as bad when the time comes to get it - assuming you're interested in getting the booster.

2nd and 3rd whooped me for about a day. Got in on a saturday, felt like shit on sunday. Felt fine by monday.

oh yeah im probably gonna need a booster, my immune system is in the toilet. to my understanding people are already doing fourth boosters, too? id have to talk to my doctor about it because im not sure how my disease interacts with how many vaccines ill need

Good news is that it's usually passed in 24 hours. Just get some rest and you'll be okay. Think of it like a trial of what you could have suffered for 3-4 weeks except it gets progressively worse.

My first shot was rough, I couldn't move my left arm or stay awake for about two days.

Second shot was, surprisingly, basically nothing.

Got my first booster a few days ago and it made me very sleepy and gave me a headache for about three days after.

Going by this pattern, my second booster should be a cakewalk.

The worse that happened to me was a headache. My dad was KO'd for awhile after the second shot though. What you're going through sounds way worse. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone going what you're going through

just arm pain for a week but nothing too bad.

some immunity is better than ventilator or dying.

The second Moderna shot affected me pretty badly. I had the worst headache I've ever had, felt horribly nauseous, and ran a pretty high fever (like 102-103) for maybe 12-16 hours. Then I felt okay for a few days until my lymph nodes swelled up and I had such a bad sore throat I could barely sleep for about four nights in a row. Fortunately, the booster I got back in January was much more mild. I had a little bit of a headache and had a mild fever for a few hours, but that was about it aside from the soreness in my arm, which was probably the worst part of it.

First dose was nothing, 2nd and booster will kick your ass

it'll be better after a day

take acetaminophen if it gets bad

I didnt get any side effects from my shots or booster.

Weakness on one side of your body? That could be a sign of stroke.

Thankfully, I was fine with all my shots/boosters save a slightly achy arm which some paracetamol solved.

I had some scary symptoms the first 24 hours and then was fine

I'm dumb I thought you meant alcohol at first and I was like "damn better call a doctor or something" right up until you mentioned a first shot.

My first one I felt nothing but a sore arm, 2nd one I had a fever and chills for 24 hours

all 3 shots made my arm sore as fuck for a few days

1st shot: felt mildly loopy for a little while. Nothing else.

2nd shot: got really tired, felt feverish, had to lie down. It lasted a few hours

booster: sick for almost a week :(

got nothing but mild arm pain from both my shots.

i was armed to the teeth with water, gatorade, tylenol, ice packs, whatever i thought i'd need.

i was googling around and i think its just that all the lymph nodes on the left side of my body are inflamed. my throat, my underarm, both those areas are still sore, but my underarm pain is still kind of insane. my actual arm and shoulder dont hurt that much anymore but all the pain has moved down to the pit

I did ok with the first two shots. The booster made the lymph nodes under so sensitive that I woke up the next day genuinely thinking the shot had gone all the way through my arm.
