At the end of the day, we all must protect ourselves masks or not.

On the way back to MD about 11-use days ago, I didnt have to wear one. But today, on the way back to TX, I realized I didnt have to wear one I was wondering how I made it so far in the airport without anyone saying anything

What I mean is normally, when masks were mandatory, they would usually tell you to put your mask on if you werent wearing it. But after I had gone through security, I noticed that no one had even mentioned that I wasnt wearing one. Even when I got on the place, they never said anything. Then the captain mentioned why when we were on the plane

It needs to end everywhere already. Yes, even doctor's offices. Only surgeons during surgery should.

I don't support the lifting on airlines, of all places.

Are covid rates low enough that mask usage can be expected to make little difference to transmission rates? No.

Is the dominant strain of Covid one which does not have the potential to cause significant mortality if allowed to run amok? No.

Can people be collectively trusted to act in the interest of public health without somebody forcing them to do so? No.

Why would mandates be lifted? Nothing has changed that would support that decision.

I prefer not been muzzled. Not that I plan on using a plane anytime soon.

Because I didnt know I didnt have to wear one at first Thats why I was confused about how I made it so far

I feel that it's still not safe enough to lift mask mandates.

You're going to be trapped in a metal tube with recycled air for several hours. No mask is going to protect anyone.

Nah I actually think maybe it should become normal at a doctors office. At least if you are there because you are sick.

I tend to wear one there cause if I call out of work I typically don't go to the doctor. So if they demand a doctors note I wear one just so I don't get sick while I'm there and end up missing more days.

Otherwise yes. People who don't wanna follow the rules don't anyways and it adds more stress to employees if they are expected to enforce it.

Yes. I dont think the masks are making that much of a difference, IMO.
