A lot of people seems to take insult to being carried. I get it, it's because it makes people feel small and not as important and someone else is doing the hard work.

Not me. If I am being carried then I will accept gladly. I will do whatever to support our MVP to help us win. I'll die in his place if it means he'll hyper carry the team. The end goal is winning and that's all that should matter in a team game.

Team balancing isn't perfect. Otherwise top tier gamers would never find games. They have to be put on teams with crappy players to balance it. A streamer immarksman talks about it all the time. He has a 4.? Kd and gets on teams with people under a 1 kd. His opponents are all 2 ish kd people and they shit on his teammates. He has to carry his team

Edit: point is sometimes carrying is necessary or has to happen.

I agree. It's okay to be carried and sometimes when you're playing great you have to step up and carry the sorry asses on your team.

But sadly I've played enough coop teams that if a person isn't at the top of having most kills he is gonna tilt.
