This card cannot be destroyed by card effects AND it can't be targeted by card effects. So why was mine not only targeted but also destroyed? Nothing of their's negates its effects so what the hell?

I think if a card doesn't designate a specific target, it can be affected by it

If the card doesn't specifically say "Target" in it's text, then it doesn't target even if they can choose the target.

Also, are you sure it was destroyed or removed from play or something else? What card did they use to destroy it?

Working right now. But the card shattered signifying destruction and the yellow outline flashed signifying being targeted.

We'll need to know what card was used to destroy it. Yugioh interactions can get extremely specific and technical.

For example if they used Solemn Judgment to negate the summon, then MAX could be targeted and destroyed because it wasn't successfully summoned yet, thus its effects weren't in place yet.

does yugioh have evolution like pokemon? is blue eyes white dragon the evolved form of blue one eyed snake?

We would need to know what card got rid of it and what other cards were on the field at the time.

To add on to this you don't need to have saved the replay because you can go to the vs tab and see all your most recent duels.

Is there a way to either speed up the replay more or jump to the final turn? Because it was one of those solitaire decks and I don't want to sit through that again.

I know it isn't much help, but it was heavily reliant on synchros and it was a synchro that did it

There is a speed up button in the bottom right.

On topic though. Even though Chaos MAX has built in protections there are still ways through it. Tribute and Send/Non Targeting removal.

Baseline is that its not perfect. And with Chaos MAX its a play it and prey they cant out it. You can only prepare and protect so much.

Ah, found the card that didn't destroy it, but caused it to be possible. Shooting Majestic Star Dragon. It can negate the effects of one effect monster.

Konami introduced pendulum summon that can only be done once per turn.

Konami introduced link summons that can be done with any materials u got in your hands. No tuner, no two monster with the same level or polymerization needed. A monkey with half its brain can link summons as many times as it could.
