I remember this because Kirby had this theory about bus being our doc and swapping with the aegis to protect that was literally disproven by the flip

why? bus driver is essentially doc saving their target in a roundabout way... but also possibly killing their target too. really depends on the actions committed to the targets.

For this game I would say our doctor is 1. Making someone king. they get a free doc save. 2. busdriver, very weak doc.

I mean I do agree that I dont think we have even more protection than what we already know

Because I think these people saying no doc in the game might change their tune if you would fully confirm you have more bullets

seeing that plum spent points making himself godfather night 1 really makes me put more question into Scare killing the cop day 2.

I realize there is clear direction today now but still do not want him being taken off the list.

I do realize it outs our protection but it is worth it to get this lynch right I think. We really do not want to get two mislynches in a row.

Bus driver is stronger protection than doctor.

I find it highly amusing that Sultan is using "real world logic" here and Crescent and I literally had an argument in Psych mafia where she claimed that "Sultan being put to sleep in his PM when Corrik kidnapped him should have given him a hint he couldn't give Corrik a pineapple" and I was like "why would he assume that it should be explicit"

But this isn't the end of your conspiracy. You are also asking for town to have even more protection on top of that.

Though I guess there was no kill last night. So technically this would have to be town town town for it to be autolose. It's probably not, though Han relishing in helping to catch "the self-proclaimed smartest person on b8" is something that I could see clouding his judgment too to be fair.

I wish it was like, other people doing this. I'd feel better calling them scum for 100% sure.

I think we should make someone that isn't Sultan or Han the king just in case scum gets points for votes.

King hardly counts as protection, it's telegraphed, scum just avoids it
Bus Driver only productively stops the kill if you swap the target to scum

One could argue that scum nokilled to buy an extra kill.
Except that would risk us lynching the person who has the extrakill, so I dont buy that entirely either.

Realize how hard it is for a bus to stop a kill

1. They have to correctly identify the kill target
2. They have to then swap the target to scum, otherwise it does nothing useful. So it's basically like a doctor that works 1/3 the time but kills scum when you get it right.

Realize how hard it is for roleblocker to stop a kill (which is why I think it's nonsense that everyone is thinking "oh, yeah, roleblocked no kill makes perfect sense").

1. Scum needs to correctly be identified
2. That scum needs to be the one that puts in the kill, which is harder to read than the kill target.

Realize how hard it is for king mode to stop a kill

1. Scum literally knows who is king. They just don't shoot it.

RB + Bus + King is not a good protection setup. I'd argue it's less effective than a single doctor.

No I'm saying there is more protection in the game and scum was stopped by that.

If anything if you're so gung ho on "preventing scum from killing who they want to kill" you should believe that delaying a kill one night to blow away a king is a reasonable ability for them to have

So maybe two bodies drop tomorrow and it's still 2 mislynch and lose

Red being Sultan's backup here instead of Han is a legitimate concern

Step 1. Post all this useless theorycraft about points to start the day
Step 2. Use that false expertise to claim scum can't do things to explain away lack of kill, making the frame job ironclad

It really depends who's playing scum and who's playing bus. I think it's crazy to be so sure that a real protective role can't exist in this. I do not think Bus + RB + King is very good protection. Especially with a multi-shot vig

Having more protection on top of scum flat out not being able to kill town power after a claim would be ridiculously op.

Bus driver+doc has always been considered broken.

Nevermind adding king powers on top of it.

And we aren't dealing with a bodyguard scenario, there was no kill.

I think trying to determine what's OP or not when you supposedly don't know what scum has is buffoonery. Balance is relative. Maybe scum has some way to deal with that situation you don't know of, despite knowing all the in and outs of how they get points.
