I'm not trying to defend NFTs. I don't even really get them or get their appeal. Why would Zucc put literally billions into basically beefed up Playstation Home and why do the graphics look like shit? I feel like there's something far more corporate/profitable/greedy going on with them behind the scenes that only some people have caught on to. There's no reason to invest that much money into things that use so much energy for no seeable purpose, that's why they're so hard to market. Also I don't fully buy that "artists will profit more because it's their work" thing, I feel like that's a way to make whatevers going on with NFTs more ethical and appealing to the common person. --- itt my post is the best ... Regulations that apply to normal scams/businesses (depending on which direction you want to look at it from) aren't being levied at them so getting rich quick through grifting is highly lucrative and largely untouched by the feds. --- "A shouted order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome?
