It was a pretty decent film. I loved the cameos.
The audience was kinda shit though.
They started giggling and laughing when nothing funny happened.

And is it a new trend to start applauding when the movie ends? I mean, I kinda get if people did at end of Endgame but this time people started clapping on not one not two but three different occasions during the credits on a normal Marvel film.

First was when the credits started rolling, then after the mid credit scene and then finally after the post credit scene.

Why? Dr Strange going crazy and grows a third eye is nothing to clap about.

And a mysterious woman appearing isn't either. I doubt most people didn't even knew who it was.
I mean, I didn't either before I looked her up but I still don't understand why people clapped their hands for that.

And then at the end when Bruce Campbell's character stopped punching himself and said that it was finally over.

People are just idiots. I don't live in a country where people do that kind of shit and every time I hear stories about how Americans act in theaters I'm absolutely baffled.

Might be more due to the actress playing the character than the character herself...

It was mostly younger people like teenagers in the audience.
I doubt they know who Bruce Campbell or Charlize Theron is.

I think I'm just getting too old for this shit.
I much prefer watching movies at home anyway. It's more comfortable, I don't have to hear idiots snickering over shit that ain't even funny and even my sound system has better sound than my town's theatre's sound system.

Going to see after work, kinda looking forward to it. Lately I've been enjoying these movies, so should be fun.

In my experience, people usually only applaud during a midnight or first day viewing of a movie

I'll never forget The Last Airbender midnight show, after the film was done a few people started clapping and one guy said "No! Dont applaud that"

Raimi directed the Tobey MacGuire Spider Man movies, the first two of which were really good since Raimi (per his own admission) is a comic book geek at heart. In fact the cable streaming services are playing Raimi's "Quick and The Dead" this month which is his take on westerns (which I've enjoyed dozens of times btw). He's had more successful movies than just the "Evil Dead" series.

I enjoyed the movie. The antagonist was thrilling and the cameos were cool even though they got massacred in like 10 minutes. Black Bolt got super fucked. I was expecting more multiverse hopping but what we got was pretty cool overall

Heres my thoughts on what they might do going forward story wise Ill just throw it all in spoiler tags

The heroes killed in this new universe will be brought back to life practically effortlessly with the Infinity Stones which the Illuminati have full control over (perhaps Vision is alive but is beholden to them). So there will be a new universe to flesh out for a few movies with the already well established X-Men franchise to back it. Charles will be reborn with his younger Mcavoy body.

They will milk having two universes to play with for a few years but it will eventually lead to a convergence event between the two worlds (Secret Wars?)

im also hoping that the Wanda from the new universe turns into a worse version of the Scarlet Witch

I'd rather have Emma Frost in a movie at this point.

Bruce Campbell is a national treasure. Love him and Sam. I had the opportunity to meet them both a couple years ago and they were both really awesome.

That movie was boring.

I'll wait to see it when it comes to a streaming service like I usually do these days. Hope it was good!
