It just doesn't make any sense.

I fuckin' hate the fitted sheets on my bed cuz they never stay fit... one corner ALWAYS goes off

Sure it does.

I fold or hang my clothes as a I take them off if I'm going to wear them again before washing.
I always fold my clothes as I take them out of the dryer.
I always do one button when I hang my shirts.
I might not tie my shoes when I take them off, but I always put them together, put the laces inside the shoes and set them where they belong so I can find them the next time I need them.

Making the bed is no different. Just make it a habit. If you accomplish nothing else for the rest of the day, you know your bed is made - and that is a great feeling.

I dont even bother untying my shoes. Theyre at that nice middle ground of tightness where I can just slip my feet into them like slippers, but theyre not gonna constantly come off if Im being active.

It's about being neat and ordered. Attuning that standard to your lifestyle helps you keep yourself civilized and ready for society. Whether you believe that or not, we're gonna keep making our beds and keeping them presentable for Instagram photos and house guests.

Now, imagine reading that and seething. Is that who you wanna be? You hate normies that fucking bad, you just wanna burn it all down? Or how about this. Live and let live and respect how others want to live. Or you can be like Amber and take a giant shit in your bed.

Imagine bothering to do any of this shit when you've got kids under 10 and a 1 year old still in a crib in your room, as long as I can find what I need that's enough. The dishes and the laundry are the only things organised at this point and that's purely necessity.

I'm lazy af so don't bother making my bed unless I change my sheets. It's only going to get messed up anyway and I don't share it with anyone so fuck it.

I do, however, have to tie and untie my boots

It can make for less wrinkled sheets, but I generally don't care too much about it.

imo you make the bed for yourself (or if you're expecting guests), other than that it's just extra work

i'm saying why bother plating food if you're by yourself, it's just extra dishes to clean up. eat it from the pan, man.

I sleep on top of a comforter, with one blanket over me. it's uncomfortable to sleep under sheets/multiple layers.
