Either with the QR code on the screen or by going to the URL shown onscreen. When did this become a thing? I turned it on like last week after a long while (finally got a new controller) and it also updated then, but I was still able to sign directly into my account on it without having to set up a "device password". --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. ... So, in order to log into the PSN on my PS3 now, I need to actually have it generate a password via the link or a mobile device. I can't log in with my regular PSN password anymore. You also can no longer add funds to your PSN wallet directly from the PS3 or Vita consoles; you have to do so via outside browsers or on a PS4/PS5. --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. ... Copied to Clipboard!
