You used to be able to let the commercials play without ever having to scramble for the remote. Now the commercials are explosively loud and will practically blow your eardrums (or your speakers) out if you dont mute them in time. I also feel like narrators on almost every show are way too loud, same with background music. The voices of the actors should be the most prominently heard thing and if you cant hear them over the music or sound effects, then that means they didnt mix the sound right (there was a werewolf movie with Benecio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins that is virtually unwatchable because of poor sound mixing). --- So long, Thanks for all the fish! ... Honestly I should ask were commercials this bad. I rarely watch TV shows at all that arent recorded on DVR. No way were commercials always this bad. --- I don't wanna wait in vain for your love. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think there are way more repeats now than ever before. TV has probably lost a lot of shows to streaming. Just look at MTV's lineup. https://www.mtv.com/tv-schedule/mtv --- 17 years on Gamefaqs, and I still don't have a signature. ... Copied to Clipboard!

No, they've been trying to find ways to squeeze in more commercials and it's getting kind of ridiculous. When I was a kid the worst they'd do is play commercials while the credits play but now they're straight up speeding up the show and I seriously doubt they're going to stop there. --- https://cdn.tuckbot.tv/jch13o.mp4 ...
