I see wireless in the link so I say no, no particularly.

I see why people use wireless, it's more convenient, and for regular use it's fine, but if you're gaming, the last thing you want is for your mouse to die in the middle of a heated game of TF2 or something. Plus I've heard wired has less delay? Not sure about that one.

Once I swapped to a wired mouse I never went back tbh.

Wireless ones that use Bluetooth have lag, but I think the ones that are 2.4 GHz / have a separate dongle are better.

I have that one. It's very good and a single charge lasts at least a week. Just put it on the dock when you go to bed every once in a while and you're golden.

I like that it comes with a dock, but I was wondering about how long it would last on a charge. Sounds like that's a pretty good amount though. Is the build quality okay? I have one of those cheap entry level DeathAdder mice that's about four or five years old, but it's starting to wear out so I figured I'd get something a little bit higher quality.

I think "good gaming mouse" really depends on what you're doing.

I wouldn't go for a wireless mouse if you were trying to be hardcore competitive in FPSs, like counterstrike. But other than that, I don't think it matters all that much. *shrug*

I have a wireless corsair mouse and it works great for me, though I'm not really playing games that require ridiculous response times.

It'll go a few days on a charge at least with all day usage (I also use it for work).

I've got a different razer mouse from amazon for like $50. It's wireless and rechargeable but only came with a USB for recharging it. I like it

The lag for BT doesn't really matter unless you're playing a competitive game. Overall I find it better because the wireless radio is just yet another signal that fucks with WiFi reliability.

You only need to charge wireless mice like once a week or once a month. if you go Logitech you can get a mousepad that wirelessly charges it as well so its never an issue. Latency is lower with logitechs wireless tech than a cable so thats not an issue either. High end wireless gaming mice have no compromises but they are expensive

the wire sucks because it drags

I think I'm probably going to go ahead and get it, although the Basilisk Hyperspeed is slightly cheaper (uses AA batteries though) and I kind of like the thumbrest design.
