Took the attitude test for cis people, and the gender dysphoria test.

@The_Creep_2020 , Id be interested to see the results if you took the trans person test, you may discover things that would be a concern if you were to come out as non-binary.

Yeah, these tests are definitely far from perfect, but I guess theyre fun enough.

Theyre definitely a fun thing to do, but from what Ive noticed when the idrlabs tests get posted they seem to take an existing survey/tool/assessment and strip it down a bit. I remember a few months back, there was an are you a difficult person? survey from them doing the rounds that was a very abbreviated version of one of those dark triad surveys.

I think the skeptic was only as high as it was because of the way some of the questions were asked.

Its interesting to see that this one has sub scales within the overall survey, but I think my issue with this survey, and all the idrlabs ones is that theyre basically likert scales ad infinitum.

That said, the self shame one isnt a surprise, and not one that would be exclusive to this particular survey. Im not really the belonging type.

Yeah, not perfect. Like if you vote in the middle, it adds to your skeptic percentage. I agree with the idea, but I disagree with the suggested method to achieve it.

But thank you for posting the tests regardless. It was fun and I feel like I learned a bit more.

Those were her results, for the curious. This is a woman who is post-everything to my knowledge, totally gorgeous, and teaches trans people how to alter their voices to achieve the sound that's right for them.
I took the test partly as a way to help her not feel so bad lol. And Chloe be flexing on us all lol.

Not gonna lie. I do wonder what I would be like if I was born a woman on a occasion.

Felt that I did not have anything in common with traditional male or female identities at all.

This does not indicate gender dysphoria. It indicates giving too much of a shit about other peoples stereotypical definitions of things.

someone posted this test before, it doesn't really grade real world studies and known knowledge well. Like how dare you suggest that a good portion of trans people aren't happy?

This post made me feel kinda weird cuz I realize that besides Poppy, since Poppy is nebulously non-binary, I dont actually have a single trans idol. Its also interesting because when I look at my results its astoundingly clear what it means, but I absolutely have no mechanism to interpret the results of others apparently.

I definitely look up to Z, yes. Not just because shes trans either: shes also a crazy talented musician. Other trans people who make me especially starry-eyed are Alana McLaughlin, Vyrthandi (she just got FFS and has encouraged me a bit lately) and Laur, who recently launched a trans advocacy organization. Were not the same, but our experiences and struggles are similar and its nice to see that others have trod this same path ahead of me and found it rewarding.

Some of these questions were odd, I answered neutrally to anything that would require psychic powers to answer so this result makes sense

It has to do with ideas of state ordinance and the age which the patient has the ability to decided if transitioning is right for them.

There were some items that left a bad taste in my mouth, which is probably why I have some skepticism on my graph.

The higher average poverty rates of transgender people attest to the inherent unfairness of capitalism.

This is a question of judgement on capitalism, not transphobia. Maybe it's just the wording, but transphobia isn't exclusive to capitalism (though it does certainly exacerbate it).

For example, It's easy to imagine a socialist society wherein all of the workers own a factory and collectively agree to not hire or do business with a trans person or other trans-friendly establishments.

Transgender people have a right to be addressed by the pronouns of their choice.

I don't like the use of the word "right" in this one. Rights, to me, are more... sacred? I guess? Like, everyone has a right to a name and to be called by that name. But pronouns feel less so. They're a function of language, used to make communication simpler. They're not inherent to personhood, since not every language even has them. That's also why I'm not down with neo-pronouns. They make communication unclear and more complicated than the original purpose. I'm cool with singular they, though, whether it's for agender, nonbinary, third gender, etc.

That being said, misgendering people and using wrong pronouns on purpose does make you an asshole and a transphobe and you do deserve to be called out for doing it.

The state should make sure that a certain percentage of doctors specialize in transgender medical services and there should be a special certification in transgender medicine.
I'm 100% all for special medicinal practices and practitioners for trans people, and even extend that for all LGBTQ and even BIPOC people as well. There are clearly different health needs for certain groups of people and it would be unarguably beneficial to have such specialists and certifications.

But how exactly would the state "make sure" of that? Probably by creating incentives for specializing in those areas, I guess. You'd probably also want a good proportion of those doctors to be LGBTQ and BIPOC as well.

Makes sense. I have a pretty strong desire to pass as cis one day, but not for any internal reason, just don't feel like dealing with the bullshit and danger from being identifiably trans.

I feel pretty comfortable connecting with other trans individuals, I feel like most of the "self shame" comes from pragmatic responses
