That is possible. Hard to see how a track turns into a flavor scan but maybe lea's flip will tell us. That would be nice.

Might just be coincidence. So far, you, Ulti, and I have been the only town roles with power across both flavors (though I am currently powerless on the Star Wars side). If the Role Thief was able to use someone's Pokmon power on a Star Wars night, they'd end up hitting vanilla or passive roles like Psychic more often than not.

Obviously, we're not gonna ask Chris to claim just to prove whether that theory holds water or not. But it's the only reason I can see for scum not choosing to steal Hb's scan N1. Surely they wouldn't try to use it at all, right? I mean, I have no clue how the role is actually supposed to work, especially since we've only seen it used on Hb, but I imagine it could function similarly to a rolecop, with the added benefit of denying town information if it lands on a power role.

Regardless, Abacus and Lea could possibly still be Role Thieves. I would not be surprised for there to be another Ninja among the Scum. No matter what, any lynch option we choose today will be a gamble. But it is very much annoying that nobody visited Lea last night.

I mean, I think it's more realistic they didn't thief N1 than they didn't try to poison at all

Hb flavor scanned Ulti, Isquen, and Red, in that order. He tracked Abacus, then attempted to track Sbell and... I think you the following nights

Track Abacus n1, flavorscan ulti n2, track Sbell n3 (stolen), flavorscan isquen n4, track red n5 (stolen), flavorscan red n6

If you're town, then Red is definitely scum faking a roleblock. As Hb pointed out, there are so many better options than actively roleblocking the Hider, namely: roleblocking me to prevent Ulti's killer from being watched, or roleblocking Ulti to prevent him from using you as mirrored protection.

Furthermore, Scum knew for sure that Isquen lied about his flavor. If they had a roleblock to toss around, why would they use it on Hider Red N4 instead of on Flavor Cop Hb? Isquen might have still been alive if not for Hb's scan.

It strikes me as odd that you're not pushing for Red harder. It's a very obvious argument to make that if you're town, Red is scum. Seems like you're backed against a wall and grasping at straws in a last-ditch effort to take the heat off yourself.

Man I agree with all of that but also apparently jc was thinking 5 man scum team the entire game and only bothered to mention it right before his death. I am not letting my tiltedness go into how I view the game but Jesus post game is going to be some discussion on people keeping thoughts to themselves. You are supposed to be open.

I agree with this. I still believe the motion vs nonmotion strategy works best here. I'd definitely believe that they used the thief on someone else over not using it at all. Assuming there is no godfather, that leaves Chris & Mzero. And well, I believe Chris is town.

Past that, I'm certain that no one is going to look sideways at Red after I flip, since it wasn't a "real" counter claim. Extremely easy to write it off as "oh I guess this corner case infinite loop possibility was fine after all lol" although I do still think it's too aggressive to be a scum action.

Honestly, if you do flip town I'd say Red & Mzero would be easy next lynches (assuming Mzero isn't a roleblocker).

I kind of think the final scum may just be Kirby. His entire game has basically been played to give town the least information possible, which is starting to tip from "unfortunate newbie" into "calculated". Right from claiming D3 for no reason giving him an excuse to be interfered with or guess wrong. Gladiating and claiming watcher there gives off a vibe of claiming so people know he has a role and shouldn't be looked at, a scum motive, rather than it actually being helpful for scum hunting. Kind of like why only scum claims bulletproof. All we really know is he knows Ulti was the only one to visit Chris. Maybe scum has something like a JOAT with a watch N2, a roleblock N4, a mystery N6. Blocking Red if they think he's the kind of hider that mortally confirms town is not unreasonable. I dunno, I really can't make a ton of sense of the spaghetti logic of the night actions.

How would you explain him seeing someone go to Chris day 2, which then Ulti then backs up? If Kirby were to be scum I don't believe there would be a way that Ulti lives this long.

Can people explain why they're so for Lea over Mzero?

Nah now that i have slept and got a clear view of things. Unlikely event Lea is town you would have to be scum. Because it creates an unkillable mirror and doctor where the mirror is both being watched and watching the watcher.

But the simple answer is probably just Lea is scum.

Or we have completely underthought it and scum is more powerful than we could guess.

I'm 90% sure you only feel uneasy because we don't have the surefire results from following the plan last night. Which is a totally understandable feeling, as we would've had more conclusive results if Hb scanned Lea and I watched Ulti.

Personally, though, I bet that Lea was the one who killed Ulti. Pretty sure even the scum team was certain Lea was going to die today anyway, so might as well have the sacrificial lamb kill the doctor.

My vote is on Lea for a reason. But yes I proposed my plan for a reason.

Like if you scan Lea and you are rbed that's the same as red being confirmed. 0 worlds where they are scumbuddies I have to think.
