Like damn, I cant believe this director didnt do any more horror movies. The atmosphere and suspense is masterful, and the score is great too.

I still can't figure out if she banged the guys on the boat or not. She was still wet when she got in the car so I'm assuming no, cause wouldn't the guys have atleast given her a ride back to her car? They wouldnt make her swim back.

Such a fucking baller movie. Shit is so fire it's unreal.

The implication is that it buys her a few days, death kills those guys, and then it's back to tracking her.

I dont even remember the ending. Ill check back when Im done.

Interesting picks. Funny Games and High Tension are great. But as far as atmosphere, the closest comparison I can think of is John Carpenters Halloween.

Maybe The Witch as far as modern movies.

But in the previous scene, it is standing on her roof. So either it killed the guys already or it was just that close to her.

The only silly thing to me is that you can apparently turn the creature into a bloody mist if you happen to shoot it while its underwater. But I really dont care since the final shot is so good.

one of the most unique horror movies I've seen in a long while.

it also had a great soundtrack and cinematography.

Damn autocorrect. But yeah. That scene legit had my skin crawling which is hard for a horror movie to achieve these days with me.

Im shocked they didnt get this guy to direct the new Halloween trilogy. He wouldve been perfect.
