Most likely. Just call them up and be like shit is expensive these days and you can't afford internet no more. They'll lower your price to keep you. I do it yearly lmao

That doesn't work anymore with xfinity, they'll either respond with "k" or just bring you to a page where you can remove services for a lower bill.

I'm pretty sure they know that internet is considered essential for most people these.

I was on a 2 hour call with Xfinity because they fucking lied about one of their promotions. It was something like get 1 gig internet for $80. So I attempted to upgrade, and it wanted to charge me $20 more or something. I read the fine print very carefully and made sure it didn't say anything about it being for new customers only. The help agent tried to say it was. After not settling and finally getting to a manager, I was able to get the deal that the website said. I think they updated their website after that to say new customers only.

Bell certainly didn't. They pretty much told me they wouldn't be going any lower, despite it being jacked up the past couple years.
