I use to think I was a huge nerd until I came GameFAQs. Grammar, spelling and so much more: I grew up with people who used slang and tons of informal English words. Unsure of the real reasons but nerds online would throw the biggest fit over the wrong usage and spelling of words. People acted like it's life and death to get everything 100% accurate with grammar and spelling which was extremely confusing for me because you'd think that a video game websight would be one of the most chillaxed place on the Internet to post casual informal words. I don't usually bother with capitalization for most things in chat-type contexts (Discord, Messenger), etc. I put a tad more effort in on forums though.
