gear cant be bought, only cosmetics. Hilts are pretty plentiful just by playing the game, hilts are the free currency you can use to buy some materials.

so, yeah. It has a cash shop. But its not as egregious as you think.

I really just don't understand why people keep playing Blizzard games. Even if we ignore their terrible work ethics and hostile work enviroment, their games are just plain terrible.

literally doesnt effect your game going forward.

if you played the game more than 20 minutes youd know that.

again - the only thing monetized are the gems. You cant buy gear/weapons.

if you want to spend money to be atop PVE leaderboards thats on the player. The game is very f2p friendly.

Similar to a gacha like Genshin Impact where 5* characters and weapons are gated by loot boxes and that game is still f2p friendly.

Ive spent zero dollars. I am level 51 with 4/8 legendary pieces all socketed with 1-2 star legendary gems and can beat the raid fine and even finish the rifts fine. The best value is $5 a month for the battle pass which gives you bonus materials and even the free tier gives you a legendary item.

the monetization is completely overblown. Its nothing like D3 auction house where you were pressured to use it cause drops were fucking trash.

this model is probably one of the tamest mobile monetization models Ive seen compared to other games.

Because youll get to eventually obtain high end gems and thats if you like to grind which is what these games is about. Youre not supposed to max out within 3 days.

BUT I also am not going to say that the game doesnt have issues.

The game is a pretty fun f2p game for now. you're not getting a million pop ups to use real money like some of these people say LOL.
