What is your preferred game controller? or the controller you are currently using now with your PC?

I'm using a 360 controller I got over a decade ago. It's starting to have a little stick drift, but overall still works fine.

And with that...pow! I'm gone!

I have a SNES30pro by 8bitdo

The only thing that sucks about PC is they have the buttons flipped (from my point of view) so A is B and X is Y, etc.

Depends on what I'm playing. For more recent games I use a PS3 controller with SCPTool installed. For certain older games I use an 8Bitdo. For certain other older games I use a USB adapter for N64 controllers.

I don't play on PC very much, but I have an 8bitdo Pro 2 that I use on PC, Switch, and my tablet.

For games that need a controller I use a Xbox Elite Series 2. I like it, feels good and I like how I can adjust the throw of the triggers.

Used to have a 360 controller, but the X button started dying on it. Probably could have fixed it, but the battery pack was starting to go as well and they discontinued the brand I was using so I upgraded to the newer Xbox wireless (but I play it wired because the wireless drivers aren't working for some reason and I haven't had the time/energy to look into it).

I also have a logitec PS2/3 controller I use on occasion, but it only plays wired and I don't like how "light" it feels. Still, it is reliable and a good backup.

I use a 360 controller from like 2010ish, though the rubber's wearing off of parts of the left analog and it disconnects periodically if I move the cord the wrong way. I should probably look into a replacement some time.

I'd prefer a wired 360, but am currently using a charging-cable Xbone

At the moment, a wireless Logitech. I don't recommend it.

I was just gathering feedback on what kind of controllers people use. I think it could be made as a poll to reflect types that might be popular.

I almost want to open up this debate...because I feel like objectively the Xbone with the pc adapter is the ONLY pc controller one should choose for native support with most every game (meaning, when every game says press "X"...it will actually make sense what you have to press on the controller) and just in general the best one for working with PC.

The xbox console may be pointless... but its controller still feels like its definitely the premier one for PC

They are better supported on PC and work with nearly every modern game out of the box, where as other controllers like the PS4 often require you to use a button remapping program such as antimicro to get them working. First world problems, I know, but it makes a difference.

In addition to this they are well designed: with convex buttons, off set analogue sticks & solid triggers, pretty much everything you would want with a modern controller. The only weakness used to be the dpad on the 360, which was horrible, but that has been fixed with more modern xbox controllers.

With that said, I mostly use the keyboard for everything if I am playing PC, since it is what I am used to.
