We aren't having contests all the time like we used to, so the closest I can get to my fix is getting obsessed with elections, analyzing candidates, predicting the winners, etc. Even in primary season (though primary season is more exciting than the general election if you live in a state that's a solid color). Plus, candidates hit term limits or run for other offices, so in (some) cases it's not the same winners every time.

hello

Not sure why just I'm tagged!

I feel like the board predicts US presidential elections informally. I actually compiled some stats (and results) from 2020 predictions at the time, which I assume is why NFUN tagged me but I didn't save it or anything lol. It'd be archived in the Politics Containment topic circa the election. And probably in the topic where most of the predix took place as well if that's also archived somewhere.

I'd say the Politics Containment topic is where election stats happen but I feel like that's been increasingly less true once it became a Containment topic since it's scope increased and the appetite for it has lessened. There was still a great deal of it in the leadup to 2020 though. Not so much 2022 atm though, at least on a detailed race-by-race manner.
