if they don't want us to see it that means there's something there that we need to see. they're fine releasing footage really quickly to prove their innocence but it's always when they hide it that means there's something shady going on

Post #3 obviously. Cops likely couldn't have shot anyone but the mass shooter in the end considering what they did and how they didn't get there in time. Didn't think I had to actually explain this.

I'm not saying they shot kids on purpose. It would be an accident. I'm not joking. And I am not the first person to have wondered about this. Its a major theory on why the cops may not want anyone to see the footage

Considering how late they entered and what the shooter was armed with and what he went there to do? I mean what you're saying technically could have happened, but the odds are definitely against that possibility though.

This has been floating around a lot the last few days, they aren't releasing the footage and its heavy speculation that some kids died by cops hands and that is why they are keeping it shut tight.

Assuming your logic holds up, this doesn't mean TC is joking, they may have a genuine but mistaken belief that it's a possibility. And that's assuming your logic holds up, which from the limited knowledge I have of this theory, may not be the case.

If I want to watch police doing fuck all I'll just go to the local church they sit at and do nothing all day.

The fact that they're trying to hide it is reason enough to drag it up.

This. It's only when they know the footage will make them look bad that they don't want to share it.

Likely the footage shows them fucking up more. Not following procedure, not knowing how to use their guns, maybe hitting the children's bodies with bullets.

Lets say that a kid hides when he hear the shooting start. He is scared. He manages to see the police move near him.
This makes him believe that he is safe so he leaves his spot.
The police are nervous. They know that there is an armed shooter somewhere in the building. Suddenly they see a movement. They react before they get a view of the situation and fire their guns and an innocent kid dies.
Can I see this happen? Yes.
Can I see them trying to cover it up? Yes.
Do I hope it happened? No.

I always felt there should be a department separate from the police who polices the police. And I'd make it a thing where only a few cops here and there where allowed to hire on. Like ones with spotless records or are proven whistle blowers. And I'd have them more be advisors on what policy and procedures are as a cop so the agents can make more informed decisions.

If we had that then I'd say the public doesn't need to see the footage as it can give away tactics they use which inbturn can allow the criminals to plan around them.

One of my teachers I'm criminal justice refused to give specifics on strategy and tactics cops used cause he knew some criminally minded people took criminal justice to try and learn how to avoid being caught or loopholes.

And that's true. I think they stopped but once upon a time actual inmates would be allowed to attend college and take criminal justice. Idk about attending an actual college but I'm pretty sure they took away them being able to sign up for criminal justice classes. But when they could I understand it was a popular subject for them

The only action you will see them take on those bodycams are the ones they took against the parents trying to go save their kids.

We shouldnt forget the police released that weird we didnt shoot any of the kids announcement. I dont think anyone was wondering whether they did before they made that odd proclamation.

I dont think it should be released to the general public but they should let media or some independent organization have it to be able to write about or discuss to clear them of the conspiracies.

Except in situations where it could compromise an ongoing investigation, I think all bodycam footage should be available on request.

Based on what the survivors have said it seems pretty unlikely they actually shot kids because by all accounts the cops were nowhere near the action.

A more likely scenario is that they said some pants pissing embarrassing shit or even worse some racist shit like "who cares he's just killing Mexicans" or something like that.

Yes, they should release it.

It's going to show cops fucking up, so of course it won't be released.

I'm not one of those that thinks every police interaction needs to have body camera footage publicly available because of privacy reasons (for people, not the cops) but I would support an independent board getting access to these things and reviewing as needed.

I don't think the cops killed any kids accidently. They won't release it because there's already so much legal speculation floating around this event that it will just add more. Guarantee if it's released we have lawsuits filed. They don't want that. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just guessing that is why.

As a general rule I think all police bodycam footage should always be available to the public. Their bodycams should also be running the entirety of their shifts, start to finish.

Your average retail or restaurant worker is under security cameras their entire shift, but for some reason law enforcement isnt? Doesnt make sense to me.

It also can't be the FBI as they need to work with local law enforcement so they will not be the impartial bureau they need to be.
