I liked Elvis Costello's appraisal for 'For No One.' And I was scared I'd go through the whole list without someone picking 'Oh, Darling!' but I think the second-to-last entry picked it.

Sad at the lack of love for "I'm Looking Through You"

It's incredibly repetitive and grating at least IMO. If he wasn't already rich as hell I'd strongly consider it to be a cash grab so he can get paid every holiday season to buy Christmas presents for his family lol.

Paul has written so many great songs, I just don't see how someone can elevate that song over the rest of his catalogue

Lots of the young people in this list seem to love his self-titled records, theyve become very influential over the years

This topic made me realize that I'm not as familiar with Paul's solo work as I ought to be. I had a Wings + Solo greatest hits as a teen (which thankfully had 'Waterfalls' on it, which I've always loved), and I had that early-2000's album that had 'Loving Flame' on it.

Just listened to Temporary Secretary for the first time, definitely not what I was expecting. But it was already growing on me after a 2nd listen, and I'm now lamenting that I didn't hear it first at a much earlier age.

I guess I'd always incorrectly assumed that, outside of the big hits, his post-Beatles catalogue was more on the 'Silly Love Songs' side of quality.

Paul seems like a decent person. I wish he had broken it off with Heather Mills sooner. Seems like she dragged his name through the mud for a number of years.

So incredibly unsurprising that Wayne Coyne picked Magical Mystery Tour. Reminds me of why I love the Flaming Lips. :)
