I also didn't pick a side in the civil war and I tried to split things up evenly at the summit thing with the 2 sides. I just saw an empire occupying a land and the other side being a rebellion. Usually in fiction, rebels are the good guys Anyway I didn't even finish the Civil War. I remember I accidently fucked up some battle or something. They gave me a quest to take part in a town invasion or something. I was on some escort quest with some other npc and we walked near the target of that battle quest. And I guess it activated the battle but I thought I could do it later and just kept on with the escort. Later, I got yelled at for being a coward. After that I just fucked off from that whole storyline l. I did take part in the 2 sides having a meeting but I don't remember how it played out and didn't really care.
