And yes, I know that there are plenty of wars that have lasted way longer than 4 months. But I remember way back in the end of February, being all like "maybe it'll be over in a month or two...".

Yeah...no. Talk about being stupidly optimistic. I haven't really been keeping up with the war as much at all lately, but I wonder when it will finally end. So much needless death, destruction and loss that's going to affect both sides for years to come. Just an absolute s***-show of human misery.
