Both of my kids are IVF petri dish babies. Part of that process is extracting viable eggs, fertilizing them, and storing those embryos. When the time came we had to decide what to do with the frozen embryos we didnt use. An estimated 1M+ embryos are currently in storage. If those embryos had personhood rights suddenly, how would that even be handled? And difficulties aside, how would this severely handicap this as a desirable option for couples? Not something I see discussed as much as traditional pregnancy. ... Copied to Clipboard!
