NFU on a grail unit is pretty wild, even if B slot has a lot more competition now. This is very welcome.

Engage is now out, and so is the Engage banner. Additionally, we can select one free 5* with no strings attached (aka no golden orbs bullcrap). Banner and free pull both last 27 days so I'll sit on it for a bit, see what Feb 2nd has in store for us.

They really killed the CYL hype this year. No rallying, and delaying the results for no good reason

I feel like I'm probably going to free pull Leif, even if I already have one other unit for Genealogy RB maps now. Would be nice to merge up Micaiah and Byleth, but I'm nowhere near completing them. Also not feeling as hot about Eirika as I used to

I took Leif as the freebie. I considered Corrin and Micaiah, but a free harmonic is a free harmonic.

I barely play other than doing the free pulls and getting the free character from the Tempest Trials, which you don't even need to play through any more. You can just read the event opening and ending after the Tempest Trials end and you get a free 4* of the welfare unit.

Ok, so I can personally attest that this isn't always the case. Definitely did not get the welfare Soren after blowing off Tempest Trials and viewing the ending. I think it only happened when the Tempest Trials involved the overarching story.

I am becoming so spoiled by the 2x SP events from New Year's, Engage, and then presumably the anniversary next month. It will be so sad when that goes away.

For real. This has been a great time for leveling characters. Going back to 1x will suck.

So I'm at the NY spark now. I get the feeling that I should grab Duo Askr due to how broken he is, but part of me also wants to put NY Ash to +2. That said, I have no idea if I'll even want to +10 her by the time 2024 roll around. Chances are I'm gonna be saving up my orbs very soon, and Ash isn't on the exception list (Those would be any Black Fang alts, or perfect fodder for a high priority project).

I'd take the Askr unless you're confident that you will finish Ash. A year is a long time and we don't know the CYL winners yet. I'll get better about saving if Soren makes the cut.

Red pool: 14 characters, 4 demotes, ~28.6% chance of a 4* on any red

Green pool: 14 characters, 2 demotes, ~14.3% chance of a 4*

Blue pool: 12 characters, 2 demotes, ~16.7% chance of a 4*

Colorless pool: 12 characters, 5 demotes, ~41.7 chance of a 4*

So, when the free seasonal banner comes out, the best odds of a 5* would come from green and blue, and colorless is almost a coin-flip.

I'm thinking of prioritizing them as blue, green, red, colorless. I already have everyone I really wanted to get, and blue has a few I'm missing and would like

I have gotten three new units from the arena tickets: Eldigan (got another one not through ticket), Kiria, and F!Celica. Also got lucky with dupes and got Forsyth, B!Roy, and Idunn. Not sure if I left out anyone. It's only a matter of time before I get repeats from tickets. Would be nice to get lucky with more B!Roy copies so I can actually have a 5*+10 exclusive rofl

Holy moly, that Mythic Hero battle was tough. Usually I'm able to nuke through everything with Ophelia, but the Demon King said nah. I had to kite him with Lethality/Windsweep Yuri to take him out. Took me a ton of tries, but I got those 9 orbs goddammit.

Got two 3* Chads lmao

I used Ascended Idunn and Valentines Female Robin to save tank my way through the entire map. This was actually rather surprising since this hasn't really worked well in months. Although, I hit a snag at the end where I cornered Gotoh so he couldn't attack me at all but all of my units did 0 damage back. So I had to swap in some actual offensive power to win. I did briefly consider upgrading and using the Poison Strike 3 seal to bring him below 25% so I could hurt him but ultimately decided against it.

Yeah I remember having to go on the offensive quite a bit in Hero battles lately but that didn't work so well this time. Ended up tanking basically the whole map with Brave Edelgard.

I was able to go on the offensive with L!Shez and S!Claude mostly. Shez was able to one round each mythic. Killing Gotoh on the first turn made things more manageable.

Got four colorless orbs on the first session. No mythics but got my first Dwyer and Nyna

Got +Atk/-HP Gotoh on my second summon. Didn't think he would be a slow old fart

Holding off on more summoning on the banner for now, but definitely see myself gunning for Fomortiis before the banner is over

This is why I was terrified of pulling on blue! I pulled green and got Valentines Lucina, so that's neat I guess.

Went back into Khadein banner and got +Atk/-Def K!Nino on the first red I came across, which I was very happy about because I was afraid of having to sink a bunch more orbs since I already got a dupe K!Linde. Didn't get so lucky with a dupe K!Ursula, so I will have to fruit her to change the bane

Glad you are sticking around. Elise has nice art, but even being a once in a blue moon unit that has all skill slots filled, I feel a bit underwhelmed by her, and I don't even understand the word jungle that is her special

V!Leo looks more impressive to me, but I'm not sure if I want to pull for him yet. He's getting a lot of haters
