There was a school in America that got in hotwater recently for using the LGBT flag and images of pregnant transgenders to teach small children about colors.

The usual suspects "REeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"ed and the school apologized profusely and stopped.

But not everyone on CE is American so I'm curious what people would think if their local school started doing it.

Never mind it seems it is about families more than teaching colors to kids.

Wow! This happened in my home town! This area has blown up since I moved. Ive never even heard of this Elementary School. But I know the Ballentine family its named after.

This town use to be old Southern but the expansion of the Raleigh suburbs has caused a massive influx of Northerners. To give an idea of how old Southern, I once saw the KKK march down Main Street two towns over.

So yeah. Maybe not the greatest idea to try that in this particular location. Im not kidding when I say somebody could have got hurt. I wonder if this made it onto WRAL?
