BMW upper management (who all have CE accounts and are likely reading this) must be feeling pretty silly right now! Good on the TC for calling them out.

I have mixed opinions on the new BMW grills.

On one hand the original design was iconic. But on the other hand I like how it looks on the EVs.

Im glad theyve so far kept the old design for the SUVs. I dont think their PR department is handling the backlash over the grill very well, but I kind of respect them sticking to their guns.

They keep making the grills bigger, and more people keep buying them.

I think they look hideous, and i much prefer the kidney grills from the 90s 3, 5 and 7 series... But i guess im not their target audience.

I mean its the M3 touring. The fact that its finally available as a station wagon after years of begging from BMW owners is a big deal so showing the back end kind of makes sense in this situation.

yeah i agree, the new front of the bmw m3s and m4s, i cannot stand. What were they thinking?

while they pathetically try to make everyone push rear view shots, ironically the grill looks less offensive in this trim imo. The added volume to the car makes the grill deceptively smaller in presence.

Same tbqh The unending joy of owning "German engineering" has been an experience for sure.

That said, to loosely quote Jeremy Clarkson, owning a sports car is like owning a shitty little kid. It's really annoying a lot of the time, but if someone tried to take it away, you would kill them.
