Much less so than people who, say...defend the legitimacy of the Supreme Court or the Electoral College. Or, say...back an anti-choice extremist to the hilt in a primary because he's in the pocket of every business lobby imaginable.

Exactly. If your response to gas chambers popping up in your neighborhood is to close the window then you bare a modicum of complicity for what happens inside of them.

I think most are actually apathetic unless it affects them directly and severely. You will see anger on Twitter but people will still be able to go about their day and maybe even forget what happened. When the current government does something that prevents them from doing that then we will see actual outrage in the streets like it has happened many times in history.

This is normal, but unless you've studied law and served in a high ranking political office position, there's nothing really you can do as a mere civilian except vote.

Yeah you can protest but this is a pseudo-fascist movement that enshrouds this govt right now. It will take a coalition of seriously committed politicians to attack that. Just being real here.

If you're not voting either way, your contribution is 0 in either direction. You might as well not exist. You're not complicit unless you help to make something happen.

People who bitch about Republicans then stay home on Election Day because the D candidate isnt perfect, or they feel the party doesnt do enough to help them, or whatever are partially responsible for this. None of the would be happening if Hilary won!!!

Imagine if you saw someone drowning and all it took to save them was to throw them a life preserve that was within your reach. But you opted not to because you "shouldn't have to" throw them a life preserve.

That's how I feel about nonvoters.
