Last Blood is the only one I've actually seen in entirety. It was good though, to me. Though the 2nd half is sad

Last Blood was a departure in that it was a more personal revenge story. The others are more about Rambo being a relic of the Vietnam War.

You should definitely give First Blood a shot.

Only saw the first one. Thought it was kinda mid but the final scenes were so good they retroactively made the movie a 9/10.

Also think it's kinda funny that Sega used one of the cop's death screams as a sound effect in Golden Axe lol

I saw 3 first, so it probably has a special place in my heart, but liked it the best.

I felt it brought his story full circle - like Troutman said, accepting (for the most part) his nature, for better or worse.

4 and 5 were okay but felt more like excuses for action/gore porn

First movie is great, dealing with PTSD in war vets--then 2 and 3 are all stupid action that's also pretty racist...was too cringed out by those to ever watch 4 and 5
