Russia's President Putin plans to attend the G20 summit in Indonesia this November, a Kremlin advisor says.
"We have received the official invitation... and we have responded positively, saying we are interested in participating," Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
He says that with "a lot of time" before the summit, there could be changes to the manner that Russia participates.
"But for now, the invitation is for participation in person," Ushakov adds.
During the Covid pandemic in October, Putin joined the G20 summit in Rome via video-link.

Zelenskyy is also invited. I can't imagine the amount of willpower that will be required for him to not just personally strangle Putin to death while in attendance.

Why are people even suggesting this. If Putin can be touched same can happen to the other 19 leaders.

It sure would be a shame if his airplane suffered a mysterious mechanical defect on the way home.

I mean 19 + body guards vs 1 + body guards that might be cut from the same cloth as their military

If Putin does show, the KGB will have already been in place for a couple of months. As much as he deserves a fate worse than death, an assassination isn't likely.

...It was a joke to play off of TC talking about Zelenskyy having the willpower to not choke out Putin.

It'll probably just be Russia, China, Brazil, and possibly 1-2 more that go. The rest won't attend.

I get it a joke but it ignores Putin has friends and leaders that wouldnt let that happen like China, India, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and South Africa wouldnt sit back and watch.
