An opinion piece on random twitter accounts is really not doing yourself any favors

I'm absolutely sure he's getting some level of hate from racist pieces of shit using this as an excuse to flex their worse tendencies.

That said, it's absurd to think that anything other than his own comments are the reason why he's being targeted. He has been by far the most vocal since the decision, and has explicitly named other human rights he plans to leverage this decision to revoke. That's a fact.

It's also a fact that, until the minute he made that declaration, Alito was the face to attack. Protestors were stationed specifically outside his house. His was the leaked draft opinion that became the face of the controversy. This in spite of the fact that Thomas was already known to be actively abusing his authority to protect his wife from investigation around Jan 6th.

Had Thomas not gone and said, loud and proud, "Fuck you all, we're gonna take MORE rights!" then Alito would be the one taking the hits right now. That's a fact.

And I have most likely been more critical of Thomas then anyone else in on this site for his history of a bullshit. Every last one of the Republican justices are to blame, however Thomas keeps putting himself front and center. Keeps yelling about how he and his bitch buddies are going to take more rights away. When the draft came out, people were mainly attacking Alito for his idiotic interpretation of laws. P ople have been attacking Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett since then about their hypocrisy. (And also attacking Susan Collins because sh actually believe them.)

Clarence Thomas wrote a separate opinion from Alito to not only sign out with what he said but to make it stronger. That was a new fact with this ruling which we didn't know about before and certainly a strong target for criticism.

Thomas was the line dissent yesterday when the Supreme Court chose not to hear a case which would revisit first amendment libel laws. In his dissent, he wrote that 'liberal' institutions like the NYT get to write about public figures without any consequences. I wonder which public figures he is talking about...

Thomas has been shit throughout his career, but many people are especially upset with him know due to how much people have found out about him within the past year.

Thomas' wife was part of Trump's insurrection attempt. Thomas knew and used his powers to cover it up.

In a normal timeline (or if he was a Democrat) that'd be impeachable.
