Also, although I didnt know the dad and mom personally, I am in contact with ex-coworkers who he worked with in the past and they are all obviously devastated. Its not even being reported in the news, but the grandmother was also shot in the attack as well. Thankfully it wasnt serious and she survived as losing 3 family members would have been even more unthinkable. I hope this fucker burns in hell. In September of 2019 threatened to kill his parents and had over a dozen knives removed from the house, then just a few months later in December applied for, and was given a gun license. Illinois has a red flag law, but was never enacted against him as he didn't have, or wasn't applying for a gun license at the time he threatened his family, so the case was closed. Fuck this guy. And fuck the laws that let him slip though. Once you threaten anybody's life that should stick with you forever, or require court rulings and fines to clear you of that mark.
