I am not impressed by this hotel. The beds are too hard, the wi-fi is garbage, the rooms are dark as hell even with the lights on, and the entire fridge is filled up so you can't put anything of yours in there without getting charged.

That's apparently pretty common in higher end hotels. fill your room up with snacks and drinks and charge you an extreme premium if you take any

It's a weight sensor. It will charge you if you move it.

Venetian was great in the 90s.

Yeah it's kinda fucked.

i like the Venetian but would only stay there if i was travelling with a girl and wanted it to be romantic.

if you are partying places like LINQ, MGM, Wynn are better.

if just touring then stay wherever is cheapest and Uber around.

We rented a hotel room for my cousin's wedding, and there were a couple of water bottles on the table with a tag around the caps saying "Welcome to the Hyatt, we hope you enjoy your stay!"

In very, very tiny print, there's text saying something like "If tag is removed or cap is opened, a $3.00 service charge (per bottle) will be added to your stay."

For bottled effing water. Set out on the table with a welcome sign as if it's complementary. It's predatory is what it is.

Nothing in Vegas is free.

Love the canal shops. Fun area to just meander around

Well yeah. Most other hotels I've been too at least have some empty space in the fridge though.

Should have booked into the Palazzo side. It's newer.

Also, The Venetian charges a $40 per day resort fee.

Unfortunately it wasn't up to me. I would have been just fine at something much cheaper.

I never stay on the strip anymore it's overrated and way more expensive. Give me old downtown over that any day. Way better vibes.
