It was kinda sad how long it took them to allow editing posts. It might be my age talking, but I feel like some of the more popular social media these days aren't really better or worse so much as different so I could see message boards like this one becoming popular for a while again and once again becoming unpopular again and so on. Since no type is really superior it's all fads. Twitter is good for quick soundbyte type reading, reddit let's you really customize what messages you see and has highly focused communities, Facebook is a never ending feed of random stuff..but the basic message board is unmatched for simply having a direct conversation with multiple people in sequential order. Which is basically a chat room with instant messages. What goes around comes around. People will be more likely to end up on new message boards than this one though.
