It's an awesome idea. If you don't care for fan service, here's the option to turn the nudity off. It's better than censoring everything to appeal to prudes.

Bayonetta herself does nothing for me.

They fucked up with this one and added a censorship mode no one expected or asked for, gave it a patronizing name, and in a game that is about a demonic witch brutally murdering malicious angels and was totally family friendly and for everyone from the start and recently, right? Surprised how fucking tone deaf Platinum Games was with this one. Should have just called it esports mode or something.

Careful angles sums it up. Her outfits are made of her hair and when she uses it to summon demons and fight angelic enemies her body is exposed except the is no explicit areas fully shown.

Yeah it's technically not explicit nudity and it's especially dumb why they would wait to finally start censoring this shit now instead of when Nintendo helped fund Bayonetta 1 & 2 on the Wii U, or especially when they bought the IP and those games got ported to the Switch.

DMCV wasn't that bad >_> Vergil is only $5 and most of the weapons are just reskins. I think Sweet Surrender and Mega Buster are the only 2 unique weapons, and I honestly never used them. So you aren't missing out by skipping the weapons

She still does her stripper dances, just with more skintight material on her. "Censored" material in Bayonetta would still be over the top fanservice for other games.

There was a faster Cavaliere with an air-stinger, the Mega Buster was unique, I'm pretty sure there was an alternate Gerbera which could launch you upward, Sweet Surrender was unique too. The biggest paywall in DMCV is while the PC players are allowed to pay for the 2nd lamest version of Vergil ever, to get LDK mode and turbo legitimately you have to buy one of the new terrible consoles and a re-release in the form of the laziest DMC special edition yet.
I don't give Capcom the benefit of the doubt anymore. Especially when the game seemingly had to dress itself up as a scam to get made with the pay to win money hat and the ability to buy orbs.
