Had my share of Saturday detentions due to that.

I started cutting class in the 10th grade, and I did it almost everyday for that year.

I did it more sparingly for 11th and 12th grades, but I still got my fair share of Saturday Schools and OCS (on-campus suspension).

A lot actually first period, 4th period and last period.

Made up all 3 in summer school, I got to sleep more got double lunch and got out early for 3 years at least. I went to a ghetto school wasn't that hard to outsmart people there and get away with things

i took a couple mental health sick days, but no, not in the traditional sense.

edit: i did have one teacher complain about an athletics excused absence, but it obviously never went anywhere.

I'm the only one that didn't cut so far. I never had a detention either.

I did stay home a lot because I never liked school. I stopped doing that so often my final years in high school, though, since it was such a pain to catch up.

Edit: Ha, by the time I posted I'm not alone anymore.

There was a group of us building a mountain bike track in the forest next to the school, so people would just skip their classes before and after lunch to continue working on it.

I came 30 min late to a class because I was part of some organized lunch time activities and ended up going overtime with that, teacher still reported me. Fuck that bitch, she literally saw me at lunch time too. She always hated on me for dumb shit.

I went to 3 different high schools as a kid. I was at a new school my senior year. At that point, I didnt even bother trying to make friends. That year was a blur in my life

Hilarious. BTW, it was more about using switches, belts, etc. It wasnt like a fist to the face or something.

1? Lol. There isnt a class I didnt cut at some point. Middle School through College. I cut every one at some point.

There were a few times I'd wake up late and have missed the bus so we wouldn't rush to make the first class and stop to get breakfast.

If that counts as cutting...

The senior trip was a 3 day trip to a ski resort or something like that with two of those days being on the weekend. I couldnt go for a really stupid reason and I knew that pretty much no other seniors would be at school on that Friday. So I went to school, got my attendance taken in home room by the substitute teacher so that the school wouldnt call my parents to say I was absent and then left school through one of the side doors right after that.

This was all a last minute plan that I came up with in the morning before I got to school so I didnt really have any well thought out ideas of what to do after that. So I just chilled at the library for a while, got some pizza, bought The Last of Us from GameStop and then saw Kingsman: The Secret Service at the movie theater. That was my first time seeing an R rated movie in theaters.

I actually ran into a girl who went to my school and my church at the movie theater who was also cutting, which was weird to me because I went to a theater that was an hour away from our school.

It wasnt a crazy day but I enjoyed it

I didnt, first of all because I was a fucking nerd who wanted to keep my straight-As, but also because at my school if you didnt have more than a certain number of unexcused absences per semester you could be exempt from multiple semester exams

I took French I my senior year for an easy credit. The teacher loved me and I aced every test so I skipped a lot because it was my first class of the day and I liked sleeping in.

I also had a study hall for my last class of the day, which was right after lunch. Took extra classes my first three years so I could get half days senior year. I skipped it most days and just left at lunch.

God I miss being a teenager. Not a damn worry in the world.

Yes. Then got detention. Then cut that. Then dropped out because school in this country is all about punishment. They dont give a fuck about children.

Sort of? At my school, you had to go to lunch at a specific time and you weren't supposed to leave the cafeteria until your class left. One year, I frequently left when I was done eating, hid out in the library for the remaining lunch time, and then met back up with my class. I'm still not sure how I didn't get in trouble because the administration power-tripped hard over lunch time. The assistant principal would stalk up and down the tables to make sure you at your assigned seat (yes, assigned seats, in high school).

Got some detentions for crushing stuff in the vice during shop class like coins.

So schools are just supposed to let the students roam unsupervised on campus doing who knows what while they're supposed to be getting an education?

Never classes but our high school would end some days with mandatory assemblies and pep rallys. I definitely skipped out on those and went home.

Multiple times senior year. Once I was accepted to college, I stop giving a shit.

Quite a few times. Only really got in trouble once... for skipping to go practice for the Drama Club concert My band was going to play in to make money for the club.

I didnt even leave school but when the teacher for the class I skipped wanted an excuse I couldnt find the music teacher to write it for me. Got ISS.

didn't ever "cut class", as in skip a single class during the day once i got to school. but i did take one "skip day" my senior year on 04/20. asked my dad if i could skip and he said sure, since it was the end of my senior year and i was mostly well behaved.

Deny. Also never had detention. The only time I would have skipped class was senior ditch day. But our teachers knew about it and the English teacher said that he would fail anyone that was absent that day. 100% attendance that day lol.
