Libraries are one of the last bastions where there isnt an expectation to spend money. So course miserable people love to get rid of it.

Not to mention the other services it can provide for people like internet access to help people that dont have computers.

Education is bad because educated people dont vote for republicans generally. Thats why they want to close libraries and defund schools

Which is 100% true because the left is concerned with facts.

Republicans have nothing: smart ppl want legal same-sex marriage, universal healthcare, abortion access, gender/racial equality, etc.

we can't even talk about economics because republicans are the equivalent of that guy from King of the Hill that barked at ppl when he got angry (and had a heart attack and died).

Again, I'm glad I live in a state that doesn't suck. My town's library recently got remodeled and expanded, and they had a ton of LGBT/Pride books on display last month

It's more that there's infinite money and lots of orgs on the right that have been devoted to this kind of thing for decades, whereas the liberals couldn't care less about anything that doesn't effect them personally and the left has no money and thus is mostly localized in specific areas.
