She got close enough to sniff my hand but is still skittish. Already getting comfy enough to be a foot away from me though! Edit: I think she's a she. Cats instinctively protect their belly in case of attack, unless they trust you immensely. I lost a cat to an incident with another dog, and he keeps bringing up a horribly traumatic experience to troll me. He's just being an awful person. My aunt's dogs aren't good around cats but they've never hurt one.
