Current Events > Playing Final Fantasy 7 on PC. Thoughts?

So the game itself looks amazing. The combat is fun and the story is pretty good so far. Not sure how I feel about playing a terrorist but whatever.

There are a lot of things to nitpick though. The dialogue and voice acting is hit or miss. It can be awesome or it can be cringe. And what's up with the NPCs? It's like they made 10 men and 10 women and cloned them. I even saw two identical NPCs next to each other. That's just fucking lazy.

I forgot to add Remake to the title. But yeah it's the newest version

That's how I was rationalizing it too. They're still terrorists. It's been so long since I played the original I forgot the storyline

Have fun with padding

If you have never played the og game, little of it feels like padding. Just a few of the silly sidequests....never found all of the cats nor I care to.

Maybe I got lucky but I found all the cats in like 5 minutes. The search area really isn't that big. The slums you can actually walk around are so small compared to the top view

You don't have to play the original to see that walk while talking sections are padding

It's really un-ironically great. And I totally disagree with it feeling padded. If anything, it makes the world's substantially more believable and fleshed out.

It really doesn't feel padded to me neither. I mean the story rolls along at a steady pace. I wish it was more padded. I like walking around looking at the scenery

Could be, but I dont mind them.

They're not really terrorists. They're just rebels.

Did you play or watch a playthrough of the original? It's kind-of important to do so.

The side quest suck but otherwise the game was a fun time.
