I wouldn't call any of the 5 overbearing and overemotional. They're all pretty chill :/

Part of me wonders if I should give that show another watch, nearly 30 years after having a brief obsession with it as a kid.

Alpha 5 just ignored him and brought in a competent group of friends that were all together at that moment.

It's free on Youtube these days. It can be fun if you turn you brain off and enjoy the fights and cheesy jokes, but in general it absolutely will not hold up. >___>

The show got decent around Space and continued to be good-ish kids fare until 2010. <_<

I tried rewatching it like 10 years ago and it was so god damn awful

i rewatched the series a few years ago but didnt finish i gotta finish the second half of operation overdrive but its just such a chore to get through.
by far the worst season of the show;.

i like the original series the most
but it triggers childhood nostalgia for me hard
i could be 89 years old on my deathbed with dementia but if someone turned mighty morphing power rangers on for me id be that 5 year old boy again watching my favorite heroes fight monsters and save the day

the show means a lot to me because really only it and sailor moon give me that feeling of childhood joy and wonder

also fun fact, kat may have became a ranger in season 3 of the show (but only for like 9 or 12 episodes before alien rangers started and they got the zeo costumes)

but she never had an unmorphed fight scene until power rangers turbo
because at that point in power rangers they always transformed into their ninja form to fight the tengas which replaced the putties.

and in zeo they never for the robot puttie guys unmorphed. they always morphed to fight them.
so her first unmorphed fight didnt happen until turbo a power rangers movie when monsters attacked the ship
