People were protesting outside the apartment complex where the murder happened. A lady drove up and had a public freak out and was screaming at them to leave. She claimed that she lived there and that the victim fired bullets into the apartment with her & her kids. Almost got into a fight when she placed her hands on a protester.

Strong emotions were on display Saturday, as dozens of protesters filled the streets in Minneapolis, calling for justice in the deadly police shooting of Andrew Tekle Sundberg.

What were here for is when Tekle was shot by the Minneapolis police and died, Sundbergs father, Mark, told reporters.

He and his wife Cindy, spoke outside the 21st Avenue South apartment building, where warrants say the 20-year-old was shot and killed by two police snipers early Thursday morning.

We are all imperfect humans, she said. He did not deserve to be picked off like an animal from a rooftop.

But nearby, Anabella Yarbrough who says she and her two young children live across the hallway from Sundbergs third floor apartment showed up, appearing upset by the protest.

He had six hours to choose life. I had two to five minutes to choose life, Yarbrough, 24, declared. Why didnt you guys check on him to make sure he had proper help before this happened?

On a social media post, she shared photos of bullet holes though her apartment door, a window frame, in the walls, and a spray can in her bathroom.

Sundbergs parents expressed sorrow and apologized for what happened.

My heart goes out to that woman, Mark Sundberg explained. She went through a very traumatic event with these bullets coming through her house. That will affect her for the rest of her life, thatll affect her children for the rest of their lives.
I wish I could wrap my arms around her and tell her I am so sorry, Cindy Sundberg added. Im so sorry for her pain I just grieve for her also.

How is it? That lady isnt claiming.. SHE IS the one that called 911. She posted pictures of bullet holes of her apartment from where that guy shot into her apartment where her kid was

Doesn't seem complicated. He seemed to have no regard for the lives of those around him nor his own life.

The guy fired a gun into that woman's apartment. He got shot by a police sniper.

he was shooting into her apartment through the walls or something, cops tried to negotiate with him for 6 hours, they found spent rounds, there was another witness, even the suspect's parents reached out and apologized. idk what exactly people are protesting for on this one

These people would probably protest police if they shot Sam Little too.

The protesters think that the police were too quick to shoot him and that there should have been a way to take him in non-lethally.

This is despite the fact that the police reportedly tried firing non-lethal rounds into his apartment to no avail.

Also, his parents say that he had mental issues (no shit), and that the police wouldnt let them use the loudspeaker to try to talk him down.

Sounds like a very uncomplicated incident, he showed no fucks given to her and her childrens lives so she called the police to end a literal threat. Police killed him because he was literally a danger to others and this woman could have been killed or her children could have been killed.

Exactly. Like if he just had a gun and threatened to use it, then yes, give a megaphone to his parents and let them talk to him. But he already shot multiple times into that lady's apartment.

I don't understand why anybody lies anymore. The truth is always bound to come out. It just seems so much easier to tell the truth.

Nope because to them she does not matter only the criminal who had mental problems killed by police matters to them.

He may have been an imperfect human or whatever, but when he started firing into a room full of kids, he became an immediate danger that needed to be dealt with.

This is exactly why people are mad about Uvalde.

Harm of the mentally ill is a national crisis and fatalities correlate to race/religion/ethnicity. This is bigger than the people protesting it. This is not the fault of the lady condoning it.

Respect for the mentally ill and the physically ill means providing for health needs. Which we have not accomplished.

This is exactly why people are mad about Uvalde.

People are mad about Uvalde due to the delayed action of the police which likely resulted in more deaths compared to if they had acted sooner.

I'm assuming it's white women who have never interacted with people of color before but desperately want to project to others that they're totally not racist.
