The show would be better if the whole entire world didn't revolve around the main character. It's incredibly distracting. People can't go and take a shit in the woods without mentioning Senku when they do it.

To be fair he's the smartest guy out of what 52 people (39 of which are essentially stone-age smart)? At least where I am in the show (s1 ep 22)

I could forgive that if even his father and the other astronauts weren't doing it too. The whole world is converted to stone and those people put their survival secondary to masturbating over Senku. They had the chance to leave a message to the future and they devoted that message to Senku. What did they name their village? Something that Senku would recognize.

It's just very very weird. As cool as all the science-ey stuff is, the show is Senku Senku Senku.
