I took off the 2 screws but now the power is still attached by what appear to be rivets.

The Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 13 appears to have 2 kinds of power jacks. This model came with Win8.

How do I get it off now that I removed the screws??

It's probably soldered right to the mainboard, even after you get the cover off.

Uhh, just by looking at it, you might not be able to.

Would have to see it with all the screws and everything taken out.

Apparently some parts need to be unscrewed from the keyboard. I am watching this video. The replacement part from Amazon came wired so no soldiering.

I pried the cover up and the hinge sort of moved with it. I watched videos and they all removed irrelevant stuff and then did not explain what is necesary. At least I think it through.

How much farther can I pry it up?

I pried the cover 90 degrees and the hinge moved with it.

Thinking that instead of taking the old wire and the hinge out I can just go around with the new wire? I think the plug for the power jack is LLC.

I dont see crack but typically cracks are not good

This is worth trying.

I thinl that hot glue will work on that crack or maybe print a clamp with a 3 D printer

?

iFixit usually has good repair write ups
