FFXV was so fucking bad, but at least the groundwork was laid for the much better Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Wouldn't have been such a big deal if the DLC didn't have more plot than the main game.

I'll just try to look forward to the XV remake for the PS11.

After all the updates and DLC FFXV went from bad to fine. Would play it before FFVIIR again that's for sure.

I was so disappointed at the game after playing it when it came out on steam for the first time. And that was when the game was 5 years old already?

I avoid spoilers or gameplay videos about the game because I was so excited. But it turned out to be a load of crap when I beaten it in 20 hours.

Never did get that hard mode........

Thats why Im so happy 16 is not open world. Final Fantasy mainly thrives on story and its harder to tell a good, engaging story when you can go to the other side of the world to kill a rat after a party member just died.

And 15s open world was also barren, filled with crappy sidequests to pad the real 13 hour game. Its a shame, cause the bromance worked for the most part.

I'm nervous for FF16, but things are shaping up to be good for it.

Tabata brought in to staple whatever nonsense Nomura left behind, gets fired.

I have mixed feelings about FFXV. The game had a lot of beautiful moments and the gameplay looked incredibly epic. The summons, both their appearances in game and their random appearances in the open world were some of the most memorable moments in that generation of gaming.

That being said...... the story was a total mess. It felt like they had an outline of things they wanted to happen in the game and then they planned to fill in the gaps between those events but they never found the time to do it.

The gameplay also felt like a mess. You could, and most did, get through the game just spamming the dodge and attacks with the basic sword. Magic just felt like different colored nukes that you would farm up to get supplies to use. It was flashy and a bit fun but super dumb.

Royal editions cover is amazing.

The game is absolutely massive if you download everything. Like space taken up on your PS4 storage.

His team from Versus kept getting pulled away to assist with the FF13 series because they couldn't finish the games for shit. Then they announced it being changed to 15 when his team was already on KH3.

Did you forget that huge ass event for the release date for the game only to have them delay it even more? That was all on Square. It's like the people who blame the changes in FF7R on Nomura when he wanted an exact 1:1 remake of the original.
