Spoilers below. Im only on the first season still and on episode 40. Its pretty messed up. Its the Exeggutor squad episode where Ash gets made into a slave through hypnosis by a magicians Exeggcute who is supposed to be a good guy. He forces Ash to attack a bunch of Exeggutor in the wild and capture them for him. The magicians Exeggcute proceed to hypnotize the Exeggutor to attack the nearby town lol. It ends with Charmander saving the day and evolving into Charmeleon. The magician goes off to travel with his new Pokmon to become a famous hypnotist. --- This used to be a worthy sig ... The first season was pretty crazy in hindsight. There's guns, gun shops, hideously overpowered Gastlys, death, Pidgeottos catching worms instead of the Pokemon equivalent, some student randomly acknowledging Pokemon levels from the game by making an estimate at Pikachu's, Pikachu-induced seizures, psychic types being as OP as the old games implied and more. They even let that loser Ash be the star when the world's greatest Pokemon trainer Gary Oak is in the show. --- Still waiting on that third threat ... Copied to Clipboard!

"Sure, let's all compete in this event and we will be your support team" stuff.
